CanEx Caribbean Wellness Conference & Expo 2026

Expo Conferences

6 reading now

CanEx is the Caribbean’s principal cannabis date and has run in Kingston since 2016. Its motto captures the shape of it: “Where connections, culture and commerce meet”.

What stands out is the breadth of audience the organiser names: “Investors and executives, advocates and policymakers, founders and practitioners, doctors and herbalists”. Investors and executives sit alongside campaigners, doctors — and herbalists. That mix does not occur in Europe or North America in quite this way.

What it covers

The talks are organised by theme and take in advocacy, banking and finance, economic opportunity, science and medicine, global trade, supply chains, sustainability, and tourism and hospitality.

That last one is no footnote in Jamaica: the link between cannabis and the travel industry is a business in its own right there. The expo floor is drawn correspondingly wide, reaching beyond cannabis into yoga, spas, retreats, nutrition, mental health, plant medicine and sustainable agriculture.

Programme and setting

Around the conference and expo sit networking formats and a cultural programme of live reggae and Jamaican cuisine — here not an add-on but part of what people travel for.

Past stages have held Bruce Linton, founder of the Canadian group Canopy Growth, former Mexican president Vicente Fox and US broadcaster Montel Williams. The 2026 line-up had not been announced at the time of our research.

Date and venue

It takes place on Friday 2 October 2026 at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in New Kingston. The organiser does not publish prices on the front page; enquiries go to hello@canexjamaica.com.
