Congreso Internacional de Cannabis y Salud 2026

This congress is two things at once: for Argentina it is the fourth edition, and at the same time the first held in international form. It is carried by the Universidad Nacional de Rosario together with the professional bodies AUPAC and SADCYT.
That makes it the academic counterpart to Expo Cannabis in Buenos Aires two weeks later — there a public fair with a children’s garden and sound healing, here a university with abstract submission and peer review.
The seven strands
The remit is deliberately broad and reaches past medicine. It covers advances in basic research (“Avances en la investigación básica en Cannabis Medicinal”), clinical studies and experience from patient care, production and technological development, and public policy and public health.
Then come three strands that rarely appear in North American programmes: social, regulatory and legal processes; the role of education and universities; and explicitly “economía social y cooperativismo” — social economy and cooperatives. That reflects the Argentine model, in which growers’ associations and patient collectives carry real weight.
Dates, venue and taking part
The congress runs from 7 to 9 October 2026 in Rosario, in the province of Santa Fe, hosted by the national university there. Tickets are sold for the full congress and for single days; the organiser does not list prices on the front page.
Anyone wanting to submit an abstract had to do so by 15 August 2026. Enquiries go to info@congresodecannabis.com.
