Flower Expo Illinois 2026

Expo Trade Fairs

2 reading now

Flower Expo Illinois is explicitly not a consumer show. The organiser calls it “a strictly B2B show” and states the purpose without hedging: “The Midwest’s Premier B2B Industry Trade Show, where Brands Meet Buyers.” Anyone who cannot show a professional connection to the industry does not get in — the general public and unvetted registrations are excluded.

Who comes together there

The figures the organiser gives explain the format better than any description: over 100 exhibiting brands, more than 250 retailers, over 200 decision-makers from Illinois dispensaries and more than 1,500 budtenders — the shop-floor staff who, in the actual conversation with a customer, decide which product gets recommended.

That is the trade this show makes: reach into the public counts for nothing, direct contact with the people who buy and sell counts for everything.

The site and the programme

The venue is The Geraghty in Chicago, a hall with more than 60,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor exhibition space. Unlike some US industry events, there are outdoor consumption areas, along with food vendors and lounges.

The talks programme runs under the name SESHES and brings keynotes plus three panels on each of the two days. Both days are open from 10 am to 5 pm.

Tickets and access

Entry is limited to ages 21 and over. A ticket for the second day alone costs $249.99; a pass for both days costs $599.99, but numbers are limited and it is granted by application only.

One thing matters for anyone attending professionally: exhibitors, dispensary decision-makers, budtenders and media do not book through Eventbrite but apply via the organiser’s site. There are no refunds. The exact address of the venue is sent to ticketholders in advance.
